Professor Mohammed Eslam is an associate professor of hepatology at Store liver center, Sydney University. He heads the fatty liver and genomics groups at Storr liver centre and the International Liver Genetics Consortium that led to the identification of genetic and epigenetic factors that impact hepatic steatosis, inflammation, and fibrosis. ME undertakes basic and clinical research on MAFLD, hepatitis C, liver cancer, and hepatic fibrosis. He is on the Editorial Board of multiple journals. He has had >120 publications.
