Robyn is a RN, ACGEN and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Gastroenterology Nursing from the University of Technology Sydney
Her role is a Clinical Nurse Educator in the Endoscopy Unit Westmead Hospital
Experience obtained in Endoscopy Royal Prince Alfred Hospital William Morrow Gastroenterology unit then Westmead Endoscopy unit since 1995.
Robyn is a Member of Gastroenterology Nurses College of Australia (GENCA) and was awarded life membership 2018
Her GENCA involvement includes: Assessor for practical reprocessing assessments, member of the Education Committee and also a member of the combined Gastroenterology Society of Australia (GESA) and GENCA Infection Control and Prevention committee. The committee is in final stages of updating the Infection Control in endoscopy guideline.
Robyn has Co- author 2 published papers and Co -author a chapter on endoscopy reprocessing Gastroenterology Society of Australia.
Her presentations include state and national GENCA conferences.
Presentations and posters for Australian Gastroenterology week and development of talks and posters for Westmead hospital week.
Robyn has authored published articles in the GENCA journal,
Her international presentations include Malaysia, Singapore, Berlin, New Zealand.
Robyn is a member of the organizing committee Sydney International Endoscopy Symposium (SIES) and responsible for development of the SIES nurse’s educational day.
