Sarah Kinsinger, PhD is a clinical health psychologist specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. She is Director of Behavioral Medicine for Digestive Health and Associate Professor of Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Her research and clinical interests focus on the use of brain-gut psychotherapies to improve outcomes for patients with chronic digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, esophageal conditions, and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Kinsinger is board certified in clinical health psychology and Co-Chair of the Rome Foundation Psychogastroenterology section, the first international organization designed to enhance and promote the science and practice of psychosocial GI care.
