Terry Yip is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Assistant Director of the CUHK Medical Data Analytics Centre. Dr. Yip’s main research interest are risk prediction for hepatic complications in patients with chronic liver diseases utilizing big data approaches, and the impact of COVID-19 to the liver. He has authored over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Hepatology, Gut, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology. He has been awarded the Early Career Investigator Award in Clinical/Translational Science in the Annual Meeting of the American-Association-for-the-Study-of-Liver-Diseases (AASLD) 2020, CUHK Postgraduate Research Output Award in 2019, the Young Investigator Award of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver in 2018, Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowships in 2018, and Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme in his PhD study.
