Dr Vijay is a General Surgeon with a special interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery & Therapeutic Endoscopy. He trained in various Ministry of Health hospitals, spending nearly a decade in Sabah before undergoing sub-specialty training in Upper GI Surgery in Malaysia, Singapore and Mumbai, in 2012. He has a keen interest in surgery for functional disorders of the oesophagus, gastric cancer and ERCP. He is now in private practice in KPJ Seremban Specialist Hospital and is also an adjunct lecturer for PU-RCSI school of medicine. He's a member of various local and international societies including MUGIS, SAGES, and ASGE.
