Datuk Dr Jayaram Menon is currently Consultant Gastroenterologist and Physician at the Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh , Melaka. He was formerly Head of the Department of Medicine and Gastroenterology Unit in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (1990-2017). He was a former National Head of Gastroenterology and former National Head of Internal Medicine at the Ministry of Health , Malaysia. He was instrumental in initiating the Post-basic GI Endoscopy Nursing Programme in Malaysia in 2009. His interests are in Upper GI bleeding, ERCP and the development of Endoscopy nursing.
