Dr. Richard Lim is a consultant in Palliative Medicine and the Head of the Palliative Care unit in Hospital Selayang. He graduated from University Malaya in 1996 and completed the MRCP(UK) in 2000. He subsequently trained in Palliative Medicine at the Sydney Institute of palliative medicine, Australia in 2006. He is the head of the palliative care unit in Hospital Selayang and is currently the National Advisor for palliative medicine in the Ministry of health Malaysia. His main interests include education in palliative care, ethics and communication skills.
