Dr. M. Masudur Rahman MBBS, FCPS, MD, FACP, FACG, FRCP is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He passed MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1997, Fellowship in Internal Medicine from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2003, and MD in Gastroenterology from Bangabandhu Medical University in 2006. He has been elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He is the Scientific Secretary of Gastroliver Foundation, Bangladesh. He has conducted research works on environmental enteric dysfunction, functional gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcer disease, Helicobacter pylori, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. He is actively involved in the further improvement of gastrointestinal endoscopy training and services in Bangladesh. He has published a number of papers in different international and national journals including some prestigious journals like New England Journal of Medicine, Gastroenterology, and American Journal of Gastroenterology.
