Short Bio for Professor Jaw-Town Lin Dr. Jaw-Town Lin graduated from school of Medicine, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University in 1978. He received MD. / PhD. at Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Taiwan University, Taiwan in 1986. He is currently the superintendent of Digestive Medicine Center, China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan; Professor Emeritus, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan; Honorary President, The Digestive Endoscopy Society of Taiwan (DEST), Taipei, Taiwan; and Honorary President, The Gastroenterological Society of Taiwan (GEST), Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Lin is a physician scientist, endoscopist, gastroenterologist, and hepatologist. He has actively involved in the basic, clinical, epidemiological, and translational research of peptic ulcer disease, H. pylori infection, gastric cancer, hepatitis, hepatoma, and pancreatic cancer. He won the Award of Marshall & Warren Luminal Gastroenterology Lectureship from Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology (APAGE)in 2015. He is now serving as the Editor of Gut, Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Therapeutic Advances in Gastroenterology.
