Raymond Shing-Yan Tang
Dr. Tang received his M.D. degree from University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine in 2004 and was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center in 2007. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at University of California, San Diego Medical Center and achieved certification in gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2010. Dr. Tang subsequently pursued training in advanced endoscopy with focus on EUS, ERCP and balloon-assisted enteroscopy at University of California, San Diego Medical Center in 2010 - 2011. His clinical and research interests include EUS, ERCP, device assisted enteroscopy, and GI malignancies. He has published papers and written book chapters in EUS, GI oncology, and surgery textbooks on topics of EUS, pancreatobiliary diseases, and GI bleeding. Dr. Tang is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Deputy Director of endoscopy center at the Prince of Wales Hospital, and Director of the S.H. Ho Center for Digestive Health.
