Dr. Wei-Chih Liao is Professor of Medicine of National Taiwan University, Attending Physician of Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine of National Taiwan University Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a fellow of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE) and severed as an Ambassador of the ASGE Ambassador Program in 2012. Dr. Liao’s main clinical and research interests include pancreatic diseases and pancreatobiliary endoscopy (ERCP and EUS), focusing on the risk factor, treatment strategies and translational research of pancreatic cancer, applications of artificial intelligence in pancreatic diseases, and the short-term and long-term outcomes of ERCP.
